Something Splendid on the Blog Hop Trail

Welcome to our August Stamp of the Month blog hop. Something Splendid is waiting for you. This stamp set has 13 stamps, including one large daisy, one small daisy and assorted leaves and sentiments. If you have come from Kim's blog you are on the right path.

Use your daisy as a focal point on a card, gift box, or money card

For a 3-D daisy, stamp the large daisy and cut out. Stamp another daisy and cut out the petals. Curl the petals and attach to the first daisy in layers for the 3-D effect. Color some fun flock with your chocolate chalk for the flower center.

To make your money card just print the pattern from the CD in the back of Originals right on your card stock. Random stamp the top flap with the small daisy. Use the marker to accent the daisy with dots. Cut out the scalloped end with decorative scissors and assemble according to the directions. Tie the card closed with a ribbon and add your 3-D daisy.

Now it's time to hop over to Kristie's blog to see what splendid treasures she has created.

Love your artwork. They are all fabulous, but the peekaboo card with the daisy popping out of the circle frame is my favorite!
