Fun with Ribbon Flowers

This week at 5-Card night we made some ribbon flowers. We used the "Salutation Seals" (C1461) along with our two CTMH punches for our sentiment on the front of the cards

To make this crinkled ribbon pom pom cut a 16" piece of crinkled ribbon seam binding. Gather the ribbon on the edge with a running tread and pull up as tight as you can. Glue dot the flower to the center of a bow.
Four petal satin ribbon flower. Cut two pieces of 1 1/2" wide ribbon 2 3/4" long. Apply mini glue dot in each corner of the ribbon. Fold corners over.  Apply mini glue dot to the center at each end of the ribbon and fold over. Use a running stitch in the center and gather the ribbon tightly.  Sew button in the center of  one petal section. Glue dot the two petal sections to your card.
I used Connie's directions to make this organdy flower. Cut 16" Colonial White organdy ribbon. Use a running stitch on the edge and gather to 3 inches.  Spiral the flower around in a circle and glue dot the layers together.  Attach a Shimmer Brad in the center.
